I'm back. In one piece, although very very exhausted. I didn't sleep well all weekend since I was in a strange place, and last night I didn't get to bed as early as I should have. So that's fun.

But I purchased neat stuff. I got some Christmas presents for a few people, some clothes for me, and a couple things I was beginning to desperately need like new walking shoes and snow boots. I bought these cool white and black moon boot snow boot things. They rock. When we got back in town yesterday, Mom and I went out to eat (some more, since I did that all weekend) and then headed up to Old Time Pottery, the most awesome store to ever open in my area. I bought a new smaller Christmas tree (my current one is 7 1/2 feet tall and rather large), and a start for some ornaments since I do this color/theme thing for my Christmas tree every year. I'm as bad as my mother except I don't have as much Christmas crap as she does...yet.

Last night, Andrew and I went to Blockbuster. We got Shrek 2, Hidalgo, and the first Superman cartoon movie episode-thingy. While at Blockbuster, I heard Metroid Prime music from afar, so I wandered over to the console sections and started playing. My friend Jason works at this Blockbuster so he was chuckling at me. I beat the Hive Totem boss within about five minutes of playing, so that's pretty cool. I really REALLY want the new game, but I will not go buy it. I will wait for Christmas. Someone will get it for me for Christmas. Even though Jason told me if I bring in a DVD or game to trade I can get the new Metroid for $30. Must....not....fold. Besides, I'm to Omega Pirate in my third time through Metroid Prime and I'm desperately scrambling to beat it under 10 hours. Don't think I'm going to make it, but I'm still trying.

Anyway, Shrek 2 was cute. I liked it way better than the first one. The three blind mice are my favorite. Tonight we're watching Hidalgo, which I've been wanting to see forever, but I have this issue with watching movies because I feel like I should be doing something constructive instead of sitting and watching a movie for two hours. I can't really explain it. It's really annoying though.

Well, I making up things for me to do today at work since no one told me that our boss was out today. Oops. So...I have nothing to do. Really. Makes me grumbly.
